Here we have a British Brodie army steel WW1 London Brigade helmet.
The helmet was commonly known as a "Helmet Steel Mark 1" and also referred as "Brodie's Steel Helmet, War Office Pattern".
The helmet is painted in the standard smooth black and features a hand painted insignia of a castle turret with flag within a circle to the front.
It has its oilskin liner.

The helmet is in a good condition for its age. There is a large dent to the top of the helmet.
