*British Army, WW2, 1940 Water Bottle with 1937 Pattern Carrier - Made by M.E.CO.*

WW2 British Army water bottle carrier & green enamel water bottle & with webbing shoulder strap. The green enameled Mk VI water bottle was introduced in 1939 replacing the MkVI blue enameled iron bottle. The webbing carrier is Pattern 1937 webbing which has buckles to attach the carrier to the web belt. This was revised in 1940 to a “bucket type” design. The carrier is maker marked on the inside "ME Co 1940." with a war arrow.

*Condition*
The webbing carrier is in good condition with some staining to the shoulder strap. The strap is a different colour to the body of the carrier. The felt covered green enamel bottle is in good condition with some signs of wear and tear, the cork stopper is in excellent condition. Please see photographs as part of the condition report.
