One of the largest artillery shells currently used by the British Royal Navy.

The base is marked to the edge‘4.5 IA, 1598/100021, ADI 0810 018’ and to the centre ‘715AA, SD 09/12,3/1 AFA12, N44 MI 013’.

~ Dimensions ~

The shell has a base diameter of 16.5cm (6 ½ inches) and a height of 70cm (20 ½ inches).

It weighs 9 Kg

~ Condition ~

The shell is in a decent condition with general surface wear commensurate with age and use and some compaction to the rim (see images).
