British 1879 Pattern Sawback Bayonet for a Martini Henry

Out of stock

SKU: RMQJA_684362982 Categories: ,

This is a superb example of an 1879 pattern sawback bayonet. It was designed to give the same reach as a conventional Martini Henry rifle with fixed bayonet and to be used as a multi-tool. The bayonet could not only be used as a weapon, but as a saw when cutting through bushes or branches.

*Condition*

Overall, amazing condition for its age. Features minor historic pitting with small worn patches on the grip. Please see pictures for more detail as they form part of our condition report.
