This wonderful set comprises of six metal toy soldiers in total. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police are the federal and national police service of Canada, providing law enforcement at a federal level. They were founded on the 1st of February 1920. There are five policemen on foot with one being horse mounted. All the policemen are dressed in the R.C.M.P. 'Red Serge' jacket, a scarlet British-style military pattern tunic. It has the original return slip included.

The set is housed behind cellophane and enclosed in an illustrated card box.

The set dates to circa 1960's.

~ Dimensions ~

The box has a length of 16.4 inches (41.75 cm), a width of 4.1 inches (10.5 cm) and a height of 1.1 inches (2.75 cm).

The standing policemen have an approx. height of 2.4 inches (6 cm).

The horse mounted policeman has an approx. height of 3.1 inches (8 cm).

The set weighs 280g.

~ Condition ~

There is slight paint damage to the hats of the policemen, otherwise the condition is good. The cellophane is loose and the box is ripped slightly on the top two corners. The sticker to identify the set has been partially ripped off. Overall, the set is in decent condition.
