This stunning ginger jar was designed by Phillip Gibson and produced in 2001.

The jar has a typical ovoid form, tube lined with flowers and foliage against a black ground in the 'Chatsworth Rose' pattern.

It is marked to the base: Moorcroft, Made in England, Stoke on Trent 80/300', signed by Philip Gibson and dated 2001.

It comes complete with original Moorcroft box.

The jar stands at 6.25 inches (16 cm) tall. The mouth has a diameter of 2.75 inches (7 cm) while the base has a diameter of 3.25 inches (8.5 cm).

The lid has a diameter of 3.25 inches (8.5 cm)

The box stands at 7.75 inches (19.5 cm) tall with a width and depth of 7.25 inches (18.5 cm).

This total weight is 1.16 kg.

~ Condition ~

The jar is in very good condition with no chips or repairs. There is some glaze crackling to the surface.

The box is decent, the gilt lettering worn.
