The vinaigrette has elaborate scroll work to the exterior and a gilt interior cover. It is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1862 and Nathaniel Mills. It comes with a chain to be hung as a necklace.

The piece is in excellent condition. All hinges work well.

The vinaigrette is 3.2 cm (1.25 inches) long by 2.5 cm (1 inches) wide. The chain is 27 cm (10.5 inches) in length.
