Used by the Afrika Korps, the Luftwaffe tropical side cap (Tropen-Fliegermütze) was the only headgear issued in quantity and to all personnel wearing tropical uniforms. The shape and pattern follow that continental Fliegermütze, which was sometimes referred to as Luftwaffe schiffchen because it resembled the shape of a boat.
*Condition*
Considering it ages and likeliness of experience front line combat, the headgear is in very good condition. There are no tears or damage to the fabric. Please refer to our images as a part of the condition report.
