~ A Pair of Glostershire Light Dragoons Flintlock Carbines ~
A good example of long service consecutive numbers cavalry carbines. Both pieces are Late 18th Century, half cock, and fire.
They are staped on the barrels with Georgian and Victorian proof marks and G-L-D 11 and 12. Also both pieces have their lockplates marked tower and GR beneath the crown.
Both barrels have been deactivated with two holes drilled underside the barrels and musket balls stuck at the far end of the barrels. both wooden stocks bear unit marks, as seen in the pictures.
They are an excellent display pair, professionaly restaured and fairly priced due to them being deactivated.
