A German Navy WW2 Dagger with Replacement Elements

With a Solingen blade by Horster

Out of stock

SKU: JA_47822263 Category: Tag:

This is a piece which had some of its components replaced.

Whilst the nicely etched blade is entirely original bearing its Solingen manufacturer’s name Horster, the pommel, the cross guard and the locket of the scabbard are made after the war.

Nevertheless, it will make it a fine piece for re-enactment or for a collector that is interested in the either on relics or who is on budget.

*Dimensions *

The blade is 24 cm long and the dagger in its scabbard is 42 cm.

*Condition*

The blade is in fair condition for its age with two visible nicks as pictured.

The eagle shaped pommel is missing part of its head and there is some loss of gilt on it, as is on the cross guard.

There is some loss of chrome on the scabbard.
