An exquisite piece, this Georgian naval dirk it is one of the best examples we've ever had in our shop.

With a fine fullered heavy combat blade, a five ball spadroon type guard, a heavy brass frame with a fine fouled anchor beneath the crown engraved cartouche and a two part ivory grip, this dagger was built as a proper combat weapon.

A highly collectable piece.

~ Dimensions ~

The blade is 14 inches long (36cm) and the overall length of the piece is 19 ½ inches (49.5 cm).

It weighs 385 grams.

~ Condition ~

Even if its leather sheet has been lost with time, the blade remains immaculate, free of any damage.

The grip is intact as well, the brass elements preserving their gilt and the ivory remaining free of cracks.
