A pretty ring of 9ct gold set with a single round-cut diamond and eight round-cut sapphires.
The diamond is illusion set to the centre of the ring and is surrounded by the sapphires.
The stones are claw set on a raised gallery.
The band is of plain gold with tapered shoulders.
The ring is hallmarked inside the band for 9ct gold, Birmingham, 1978 and has a makers mark of ‘W&G’.

The diamond measures 0.01 carats (1mm diameter).
The sapphires measure 0.05 carats (2.5mm diameter) each.
The ring is a UK size O+ which is a US size 7 ¼ (17.45mm diameter).
It weighs 2.3g.
~ Condition ~
Unfortunately two of the sapphires are missing. The ring is otherwise in a nice condition with minimal wear.
