A beautiful 9ct gold necklace with a hand carved cameo pendant.
The piece can be both a necklace and a brooch as it has a suspension loop and removable chain and is also fitted with a clasp to the reverse.
The cameo features the delicate detailing of the traditional subject of a ladies bust in profile.
The cameo is beautifully framed in gold with a thin twisted gold thread around the circumference.
The cameo hangs from a thin gold chain with a spring ring clasp.
The cameo is fully hallmarked for 9ct gold but the hallmark is a little worn so it’s difficult to read any more information.
The suspension loop is marked for 10ct gold.
The chain is marked to the end link for 9ct gold.

The pendant is in a beautiful condition other than a tiny dent in the gold setting. The chain is in great condition and the clasp works well.
