A lovely ring of 9ct gold set with a single oval black/natural star sapphire and two small round-cut diamonds.
The sapphire is not cut in such a way as to give it the 'star' feature but is cut with an almost flat face, so more of the golden colour is revealed instead.
It is claw-mounted to the front of the ring between two heart shaped settings each mounted with a diamond.
The band is slim and plain.
The ring is hallmarked for 9ct gold, Birmingham, 2010.

The diamonds measure approximately 0.01 carats (1mm diameter) each.
