A lovely ring of 9ct gold with a flower head design set with a large oval-cut amethyst and 16 small round-cut amethysts.

The flower head design features the large amethyst, claw set to the centre with the small amethysts set around the circumference.

The band is of plain gold.

The ring is hallmarked but the hallmark is rather worn and cannot be read.

The large amethyst measures approximately 3.0 carats (8mm x 10mm).

The small amethysts measure 0.02 carats (1.5mm diameter) each.

The ring is a UK size L which is a US size 5 ½ (16.10mm inner diameter).

It weighs 2.8g.

~ Condition ~

The ring is in a very nice pre-owned condition. The stones are free from damage and have a nice shine.

One of the claws that hold the large amethyst in place is damaged, but the stone is still secure in its setting despite this.
