~ 9ct Yellow Gold Amethyst & Diamond Bracelet & Earrings Set ~
A lovely set of a bracelet and earrings both of 9ct gold, set with amethysts and diamonds.
The bracelet has 13 oval-cut amethysts claw set at intervals along the entire circumference of the bracelet. The links between are
figure-of-eight shaped partially of platinum with two small round-cut diamonds set into the platinum. There are 26 diamonds in total.
The bracelet is secured with a box clasp with clip and safety chain.
It is hallmarked to the clasp end for 9ct gold.
The earrings are droplet shaped each with a single amethyst set to the centre. They have platinum running down the edges and are
set with a diamond each side.
The earrings themselves are not hallmarked but the butterfly backings are marked for 9ct gold.
~ Dimensions ~
Bracelet:
The amethysts measure 0.40 carats (3mm x 6mm) each.
The diamonds measure 0.01 carats (1mm diameter) each.
The bracelet has a circumference of 16.5cm (6 ½ inches).
Earrings:
The amethysts measure 0.75 carats (4mm x 6mm).
The diamonds measure 0.01 carats (1mm diameter) each.
The earrings have a drop of 2.5cm.
The bracelet and earrings together weigh 10.2g.
~ Condition ~
There is evidence that a link has been repaired at some point and currently another of the links is broken and is being held together
with a piece of wire. It is secure and can be worn, but will probably need repairing.
The bracelet is otherwise in a nice condition with no loss or damage to the stones.
The earrings are in a very nice condition with minimal wear and no damages to the stones.
