A lovely ring of 9ct gold set with a single oval-cut deep blue sapphire and 12 small round diamonds.

The sapphire is claw mounted to the front of the ring. The sapphire is framed with a platinum border which is set with the diamonds.

The band is slim and plain.

The ring is hallmarked for 9ct gold, Birmingham, 1987.
