It is named ‘Longines’ with the logo above and also reads ‘Swiss Made’ to the lower edge.

The case-back is engraved ‘Presented to F.R. Wheeler Esq. In appreciation of 42yrs loyal service. Geecen Limited and LMCPA, 1963’.

The case is hallmarked to the inside for 9ct gold, Birmingham, 1959.

It has a makers mark of ‘ALD’ and two serial numbers of ‘13322’ & ‘997881.

The watch has a 17 jewels manual wind movement with a calibre no. ‘12.68ZS’.

It is named ‘Longines Swiss’ and has a serial number of ‘10911533’ dating the watch to 1959.

The watch comes on a modern brown leather strap.
