A lovely ring of 9ct gold with a flower head design set with a single oval-cut opal and 12 small round-cut garnets.

The opal is claw-set to the centre of the ring with the garnets claw-set around its circumference.

The band is of plain gold with split, angular shoulders.

The ring is hallmarked inside the band for 9ct Gold, Edinburgh, 1979.

The opal measures 0.75 carats (5mm x 7mm).

The garnets measure 0.03 carats (2mm diameter) each.
