~ Five 1912-14 Royal Worcester Hand Painted Plates By Walter Powell Of Pink Flamingos ~
The flamingos are wading in shallow water within a misty landscape. The embossed border is finished in 'Quaker' grey with a gilt border. The plates bear the puce Royal Worcester back stamps and are dated to 1912, 1913 and 1914.
~ Condition ~
The plates have surface scratch wear though this does not affect the paint work. The gilding is worn. 4 of the plates are structurally fine and free from chips and cracks. One has been heavily repaired, being broken into several pieces, and pinned back together - the set is priced with this one for free.
