This fine and large watercolour on paper by Willian Edward Atkins (British, born circa 1842-1910) depicts ‘Sailing barges entering Portsmouth Harbour' with two various three-decked ships-of the-line near the Round Tower, It is signed to the lower left. The painting is well presented in a wooden frame which is glazed and has two lined mounts.
