~ 19th Century Percussion 2 1/2 Inch Barrel Boxlock Pistol ~

This 19th Century .41 Cal boxlock pistol with the hammer positioned on the center of the metal frame. Its cylindrical smooth barrel can unscrew.
The hammer is dolphin-shaped.
The barrel and frame are stamped with a proof mark each.
The butt is walnut-shaped.
The pistol cocks and releases with a very strong spring.
The lockplates are foliage decorated.

~ Dimension ~

The barrel length is 2 1/2 inches (6.5 cm) and an overall length of 6 ¾ inches (17 cm).
The item weighs 220 g.

~ Condition ~

The pistol is in good condition with minimum ageing and usage.
The barrel has developed a decent patina and has a few minor pits.

The wooden grip is in good order.
