The finely cast box is covered with a plethora of cherubs. By pulling out the side toggle, the lid lifts and the feathered friend dances and chirps merrily before the lid closes again. The piece rests on four bun legs.

The underside is stamped 'Sterling', '925' and '1'.

It comes with a later key.

The piece is in good order and works well.
