~ 19th Century Chinese Qing Dynasty Cast Lead/Bronze Alloy Plate ~
A Chinese ceremonial plate depicting warring Deities, one riding a Chinese dragon, the other riding clouds in the sky, cast in deep relief.
The plate comes with a letter of authenticity/valuation from Sothebys, dated 2009, giving an auction valuation of £400-600 in 2009.
~ Dimensions ~
The plate has a diameter of 9 inches (22.9 cm) & a depth of 1.2 inches (3.1 cm). It weighs 1.55 Kg.
~ Condition ~
The piece is in great order. There is a small hole (it does not perforate the piece) towards the top, a left over from the casting process. There are some minor chips along the edges.
