This is a mid 19 century 8mm pinfire revolver.

The pistol has an octagon shaped barrel. The mechanism seems to be single action but because it is faulty it is hard to say.

The rounds are loaded into the cylinder by a trapdoor fitted on the right side.

The walnut grip is brilliantly crafted and held in place by a screw and with brass circle holders on each side.

~ Dimension ~

The barrel length is 3 ½ inches (8.3 cm) and an overall length of 7 inches (17.8 cm).

The item weighs 290 g.

~ Condition ~

The revolver is in fair condition with some damage to the grip and signs of wear.

The item has developed a decent patina and has a few minor pits but the item is in good order.

There are some signs of rust developing but the trigger safety works.
