~ 1947 Royal Worcester Embossed UK Utility Fern Leaf Tyg ~
The three handled jug is covered in richly embossed moulded fern leaves, three of which form the handles. It was probably designed to be used as a small plant pot.
The underside has the green Royal Worcester back stamp, bone china and dated for 1947.
These white items were for the UK market only immediately after World War Two as utility ware, only colourful glazed piece were produced for the export market to rebuild the national economy.
~ Condition ~
The piece is in good order, no chips or cracks. There is some staining to the inside base.

The pot is 8 cm (3.25 inches) tall and 12 cm (4.5 inches) in diameter.
