This is the name board of a Castle class Corvette with a compliment of 112 in the Royal Navy, made and serving in World War 2 before being decommissioned and scrapped in 1961.
She served in the battle of the Atlantic and as part of the Atlantic convoy ships.
The Castle class was a very modern ship for the time being armed with anti submarine mortars and radar.
