A metal car badge for the Royal Automobile Club Associate. The piece is circular with the Royal Automobile Club Associate stamped upon the outside, with a crown inbetween. To the center is a coloured enamel Union Flag. Below that is a code: "F86785". 'Property of RAC' on the back as is the makers mark. The number of spokes on front indicate it was 1931 or later. The British Union Jack on the front indicates it is pre 1936. The badge has a screw & is on a bracket attachment, and is ready for mounting.

The badge stands at 5.5 inches (14cm) tall with a diameter of 3.3 inches (12.75cm). It weighs 0.33kg.
~ Condition ~
The badge is in very good vintage condition. The enamel has a couple of small chips on the white areas. There is some light surface wear to the metal & the back has some pitting. The bracket attachment is rusted.
