~ 1930s Clarice Cliff Newport Pottery Art Deco Green And Gilt Part Dinner Service ~

The plates have ribbed edges with a flower shape to the centre and bands of gold gilt and green.

There are five small plates, five larger plates, an un-lidded tureen, two tea cups and a milk jug.

Most are back stamped for Clarice Cliff, Newport Pottery, England Regd. No. 40078 though a few are by Royal Staffordshire of the same pattern.

~ Condition ~

Two of the smaller plates have chips to the underside of the rim, as does one of the larger ones. The milk jug has a chip on the underside of the spout.

~ Dimensions ~

The larger plates are 25 cm (10 inches) in diameter.

The smaller plates are 16.5 cm (6 inches) in diameter.

The tureen is 27 cm (10.75 inches) across.

The cup is 8 cm (3.25 inches) in diameter.

The milk jug is 13.5 cm (5.25 inches) in length.
