~ 1930 Aeroplane Propeller Hub With Smiths Of London Spitfire Type Clock ~

The laminated propeller hub is dated for the 1st of September 1930. There are other details stamped to the hub flat and sides.

The loosely fitted clock by Smiths of London was used both in cars and as a cockpit clock for early wartime RAF aircraft including Spitfires and Hurricanes.

~ Condition ~

Please refer to the images for the condition. The varnish is quite bubbled. The clock is in good working order.

The piece is 46 cm (18 inches) wide.
