~ 1915 1919 Royal Engineers France Belgium Egypt Palestine Brass Trench Art Tobacco Jar ~

The jar is made out of two lower portions of 100 mm interlocked shell cases.

The top of the jar is engraved for 115 Company, Royal Engineers, 1915-19 with panels for 'France', 'Belgium', 'Egypt' and 'Palestine'.  These are set up on a background of stipple engraving and flower.

The underside is stamped 1914, 225, 100m, M10 and L.

The piece is in good order.

The rims are 11.5 cm (4.5 inches) in diameter and it stands at 11 cm (4.25 inches) tall.
