~ 1907 Pattern Hooked Quillion Bayonet With Matching Numbers Of R829 To The Yorkshire Regiment With Scabbard And Rare Canvas Frog ~

The pommel of the bayonet is stamped Y K for the Yorkshire Regiment, along with the serial number of 'R 829', which is matched on the scabbard mouth. The bayonet is also stamped 1907 as well as with various proofing marks.

The frog is a rare one being of canvas rather than the more common leather. It is faintly stamped to the reverse but this is too difficult to be read.

The bayonet, scabbard and frog are all in excellent order.

~ Dimensions ~

The bayonet is 55 cm (21.75 inches) in total length with a 43 cm (17 inch) blade.
