~ 1907 Pattern Hooked Quillion Bayonet To The South Staffordshire Regiment ~

The bayonet is stamped on the ricasso for the 1907 pattern, dated for 1909, bears a makers mark of 'EED', numerous later inspection marks.

The pommel is stamped '2343' and 'S STF' for the South Staffordshire Regiment.

It comes with its black leather scabbard which is stamped 'RL'.

~ Condition ~

Both the scabbard and bayonet are in excellent condition. The clasp works well on the bayonet, the stitching on the scabbard is tight and complete.

~ Dimensions ~

The bayonet is 55 cm (21.5 inches) in length with a 43 cm (17 inches) blade.
