The telescope has a chromed brass case, extending sunshade, and a sliding eyepiece cover. It is fitted with a brown leather cover to the body and also has an attached brown leather end cap.

The draw is stamped "Ross London No 32758 1902".

When compacted, the telescope is 46cm (18 inches) in total length.

When fully extended, with the sunshade deployed, the telescope is 64cm (25 inches) in total length.
