~ 18th Century Flintlock Blunderbuss With Sprung Bayonet By Twigg ~

The lockplate is stamped "Twigg" and the half-hexagonal brass barrel is named London and proof marked in three places.

The piece comes with its original ramrod.

The trigger guard has pineapple finial and foliage decorations.

The mechanism half-cocks, cocks and dry fires.

~ Condition ~

As seen in the pictures the bayonet has a crack but otherwise the blunderbuss is excellent.
