~ 18Ct Yellow Gold Diamond & Sapphire Ring UK Size O+ US 7 ¼ - Chester c1892 ~
A gorgeous 1892 dated ring of 18ct gold set with one round-cut diamond and two round-cut sapphires.
The ring has an ornate gallery. The diamond is mounted centrally in a diamond shaped setting while either side the sapphires are in triangular
shaped settings.
The ring has a plain band but with decorative shoulders.
The ring is hallmarked inside the band for 18ct gold, Chester, 1892.
~ Dimensions ~
The diamond measures 0.05 carats (3mm diamter).
The sapphires measure 0.03 carats (2mm diameter) each.
The ring is a UK size O+ which is a US size 7 ¼ (17.45mm inner diameter).
It weighs 2.9g.
~ Condition ~
The ring is in a very nice condition with minimal wear although one of the sapphires seems to be a replacement in glass.
