~ 1897 Pattern Royal Navy Officers Sword, Mid-20th Century ~

A fairly basic but robust example, probably made overseas, but still has a proofed, fighting blade.

~ Dimensions ~

The sword has an overall length of 95cm (37.5 inches) with a 79cm (31.5 inch) blade.

The set weighs 1.2 Kg.

~ Condition ~

The sword is in excellent order, the blade has some darker patches, but nothing serious. The grip has been rebound with white leather. The scabbard is in fair order. The gilding on all parts is rather worn.
