~ 1897 Pattern Infantry Officers Sword With Scabbard And Sword Belt By W. W. Greener Of Birmingham ~

The King George V piece is marked W. W. Greener on the ricasso.

It is complete with its leather field scabbard, frog, suspensions straps and sword belt.

~ Dimensions ~

The sword has an overall length of 97cm (38.5 inches) with a 81cm (32 inch) blade.

The set weighs 1.5Kg.

~ Condition ~

The sword is in good, worn order. The blade has blackened with age, the edge is free from nicks.

The frog on the scabbard is partially unstitched to one side.
