~ 1895 Royal Worcester Hand Painted Blush Ivory Ornate Wall Pocket With Floral Decoration ~
A lovely wall pocket from the late 19th century. It is in the form of a jug with painted flowers and scroll-work above, all with extensive gilt embellishments.
It bears the Royal Worcester back stamp in green, is date coded for 1895 & has a shape number of 1708.
~ Condition ~
There is a flea bite chip to the rim of the vase, near the spout and a chip on the back behind one of the scrolls.
Both the painting and gilt work remain excellent.
~ Dimensions ~
The wall pocket is 24 cm (9.5 inches) tall.
