The rifle is a new spec deact, so the breach opens but it won't cock or dry fire. 

One side of the mechanism box is stamped Enfield 1888 IV 1. beneath the crown and the other is 'Converted by C.G. Bonehill of Birmingham for the Society of Miniature Rifle Clubs'

The barrel is serial numbered '11412'.

~ Condition ~

As seen in the pictures the piece is in fair condition for its age with the expected wear.

One screw is missing from the trigger guard assembly.
