This variant of the 1875 pattern bayonet has a blade length of approximately 45cm with an overall length 58.5cm. It was designed to fit the Martini Henry rifle and was used by the British army in the late 1800s. It features a maker’s mark at the ricasso and the pommel button works as it should.
~Condition~
This bayonet is in excellent condition with some small areas of pitting on the blade. The hilt is strong and undamaged with light pitting. The scabbard is also in excellent condition with a small tear near the top. Please see pictures for more detail as they form part of our condition report.
