This sword has a single-edged blade with a flat spine, tapering to a false edge and spear point. It features a fuller that runs along both sides of the blade for most of its length.
The blade is covered in decorative etchings including a crown and the Royal Navy fouled anchor motif along with the royal coat of arms and motto.
Its half-basket hilt is comprised of gilt brass and is attached to a lion’s head pommel and shagreen grip.
The original black leather scabbard is brass-mounted and holds the sword firmly.

This sword is in excellent condition and retains almost all of its original etchings and has minimal wear to all parts including scabbard. Please see pictures for more detail as they form part of our condition report.
