~ 1794 Pattern 30th Prince Of Wales Light Dragoons Sabre Sword ~

The sword has a steel blade and fittings and a black chequered ebonised grip.

The guard is engraved OR XXX Light Dragoons Prince Of Wales. The other side features the cypher of the Princes of Wales with the motto 'Ich Dien' - meaning 'I serve'.

It comes with its steel and black leather scabbard.

~ Condition ~

Please refer to the images for the condition. The blade has some pitting but no chips to the edge. The grip is complete. The scabbard is very decent, just general wear. The leather spacer is a replacement. All parts are firmly in place.

~ Dimensions ~

The sword is 102cm (40 inches) in total length with a 88cm (34.75 inches) blade.
