~ 1788/1796 Pattern Blue & Gilt Light Cavalry Sabre ~

A very fine example of this classic sabre with a two thirds length fuller and gorgeous blue and gilt work to the top half of the blade.

~ Condition ~

The sword is in excellent order with the majority of its blue and gilt remaining. The grips and the wire are complete. The scabbard is excellent too with no split seams, there are a few minors dings but much better than average.

~ Dimensions ~

The sword has a total length of 93 cm (36.5 inches) with a 81.5 cm (32 inches) blade. The set weighs 1.25 Kg.
