~ WW2 British Brodie Helmet Mark 2 Probably Repainted For The 1953 Coronation Of Queen Elizabeth ~

The helmet bears a painted union jack to the exterior, most likely to celebrate the 1953 coronation (or perhaps VE day). The liner and chinstrap are present. I cannot find a date stamp as the interior was also over painted.

~ Condition ~

The helmet has wear to the exterior paint. There is minor corrosion to the inside. The liner is musty and the chin strap is split in the middle.

~ Dimensions ~

The helmet is 30.5 cm (12 inches) long and 28.5 cm (11.25 inches) wide.
