This is the model 1884/98 III bayonet for the WW2 German Mauser K98 infantry rifle. Marked and dated to CVL and 1944. The serial number and scabbard are matching as both have 7868.

*Condition*

Both the bayonet and the scabbard are in excellent condition. The blade and the scabbard in particular are very well preserved. Some light pitting on the grip. Please refer to the images as a part of our condition report.
