~ WW1 1917 German Shell Case Trench Art Lidded Tankard With Horse Head And Lucky Horseshoe ~

The tankard has an embossed leaf on the lid, the sides are decorated with a further leaf, a horse head in a horseshoe, and a bunch of grapes. The underside of the shell case is dated 1917 and it was made in Dusseldorf.

~ Condition ~

The piece is in excellent order, the lid has a little play in it.

The tankard is 15 cm (6 inches) tall.
