Original German WW2 M35 Double Decal Army helmet

Nazi Third Reich Heer DD M35 Stalhelm

An original M35 double decal German helmet with original lining and chinstrap, with a makers mark and size of SE64 showing this helmet was made by the Saxon Emaillerwerke factory with the batch No 4614 showing it was originally a double decal Army M35 with Parade finish light Green paint which is still evident in patches. This helmet looks to have been rubbed down at some point in readiness for refurbishment probably, luckily this did not happen and some of the original finish as well as the decals are still there.

“Condition”

In original condition although the paint has been smoothed down so that bare metal shows in places, the liner and chin strap have stiffened somewhat and discoloured, the retaining buckle is absent and some stitching to the liner is missing. Still a very nice example. Please see the pictures as these form part of our report.
