A mid 19th Century travelling percussion pistol, by Egg, London, with 5 inch / 19-bore twist-off octagonal steel barrel, box-lock and trigger guard engraved with scrolling foliage, nicely-figured walnut pistol grip with engine-turned finish, Birmingham proof marks.

 *Condition*

The pistol is in very good condition with notably the engravings on the grip and barrel. The mechanism still works fine but one screw is lacking on top right of cock-spur.
