This is a bomb release switch from a Lancaster bomber from WW2. The Avro Lancaster was a heavy bomber used by Britain during WW2. These planes could carry the largest bombs in the RAF and were used extensively between 1942 and 1945, dropping 618,378 tonnes of bombs. This bomb release has the code 5D/596.

*Condition*

The bomb release is in great condition with no damage. The cable is coating that can be removed. Please see pictures for more detail as they form part of our condition report.
